Privacy Policy

The short version

Everything you type into a calculator on this site stays in your browser. We have no accounts, no server-side database, and no way to see your inputs.

What we store, and where

When you enter details such as age, height or weight, they are saved in your browser's localStorage. That is a storage area belonging to this website inside your own browser. It means:

• Your details are still there when you come back or open another calculator.
• They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
• They exist only in the browser you typed them into — not on your other devices.
• Clearing your browsing data removes them permanently.

We also store two preferences the same way: your metric/imperial choice and your light/dark theme choice.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. localStorage is not a cookie and is not sent with network requests.

Third parties

Google Fonts

We load the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com andfonts.gstatic.com, which means Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of that request. Google states that Fonts requests do not set cookies. We do not send anything else, and none of your calculator inputs are involved.

Advertising

This site does not currently display advertising. If that changes, this page will be updated before any ad code is added, and the notice will describe exactly what the ad provider collects.

Analytics

We do not run any analytics or tracking scripts.

Hosting

The site is served as static files by our hosting provider. Like any web host, it processes standard server request logs, which typically include IP address, timestamp and requested URL, for security and operational purposes.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no personal information from anyone, of any age, because we collect no personal information at all.

Your rights

Rights such as access, correction and deletion apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none. Your data is in your browser, entirely under your control, and you can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. Material changes affecting how data is handled will be noted on this page.
